Get to know us and the journey that led us to

We (Seth & Molly) purchased the old Dairy State Cold Storage Co. building on September 20th, 2021. But the dream and vision of The Warehouse started nearly three years earlier…
Molly’s Dream: Just months before we started dating, Molly had a dream one night of a small staircase that led to a small room. When she opened the door, there was a woman sitting with her arms hugging her knees, crying. Molly comforted her and then went to look down the staircase where she saw Seth on the floor covering a little baby. A short time later Molly had another dream of a large open space with concrete floors filled with kids playing ping pong, air hockey, etc.
Seth’s Vision: Nearly a decade ago, Seth had been thinking about how great it would be to have a large space for family-friendly dance parties, concerts, and just a fun gathering space for people. But his busy engineering work schedule didn’t allow much time for a vision like this to take root.
The Birthday Surprise: Just 9 days before Seth’s 2019 birthday, he was rear-ended in an automobile accident that ended up being a huge blessing in disguise. On his birthday, Seth was off work for a doctors appointment that led to him getting a few weeks off work due to a concussion diagnosis. This ordered rest was perfectly timed as it gave him time to let the events of that morning really set in. For just hours earlier, he was sitting at the coffee shop Molly worked at talking to a friend who was mission focused. It was just after that conversation ended that Seth knew there was a mission he was to focus on right here in Wisconsin Rapids. Molly saw the writing on the wall (or in this case on Seth’s face) and the search for the perfect building started that day!
Finding The One: There were a handful of buildings for sale but none that felt right. Within weeks of searching, some friends of ours told us about an old brick building on the west side of town that a family member of theirs owned. We got the opportunity to see the building and immediately Seth knew it was the right place. As we walked through the large open space, we eventually found the small staircase that led to the small room in Molly’s dream! The second time we got to walk through the building was the day Seth asked Molly to be his girlfriend. So, finding the one isn’t just about a building here – It was a start to our journey of seen, known, loved, and belong.
The Adventure Of A Lifetime: It’s been a long journey to get to this point and we are ready for the longer one that is ahead! One thing we know for sure is that God’s plans and timing are perfect. A lot happened during those 3 years: Seth’s career changed from engineering to full-time ministry, we got married, we found out our family was growing, and so much more! We are so thankful to God, our friends, family, and the many provisions and miracles that led to us purchasing the building we’ve been dreaming about – The Warehouse.
